Reeses Cheesecake

The cheesecake that Cammy and I made went very well. We didn't really have any issues making any part of it. The only complication we had was that Gabe ate our peanut butter so I had to get more. The swirl that we had in our cheesecake looked really well and really helped to show that it wasn't all just chocolate and peanut butter. A way we could have made it better is if we had put the resses on in that same way instead of just plopping them in. But, we were rushed since I needed to get to class so we didn't take the time to make that part pretty. The first reeses cup that I cut up turned out really well and I was quite proud of myself. Then they decided to not cut so nicely and ended up cracking and braking off and not looking so nice. I think it we would have refrigerated or frozen the candy that it would have turned out better than at room temperature.

Tasting the cheesecake was something that I dreaded. I have never liked cheesecake at all, and it never sat well in my stomach. So when the time came to eat this I was still the same way. I took the smallest bite that I could and ate it. I believe it is the cream cheese that ruins it for me. There is to much of it for my taste. But still It looked great.

When I took a couple of slices home to my parents, they said it was really good and that they were impressed. I showed them the picture from up above and they said it looks just as good as it tasted. So all in all I'd say the cheesecake went very well.
