Apple Pancakes

In this lab we had to make a raw fruit recipe, and so me and my partner decided to make apple pancakes because the apples weren't baked. This was an easy recipe considering it was basically making pancakes, but adding pieces of apple to it.

We first heated the griddle to medium heat, and then started making the mix. While my partner grind the apples, I combined the dry ingredients. I had to sift flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon and sugar. Once my partner was done we combined the shredded apples, with an egg, melted butter and milk and put in a separate bowl. We then combined the dry and liquid ingredients, and mixed them till they were blended well.

Once the griddle was hot and ready, we poured the pancake batter onto the griddle and poured 1/4 cup of the batter and put it onto the griddle. We checked each pancake by making sure each side was a golden brown and ready to flip.

This recipe was basic and pretty easy. It had a fall kind of feeling to it because of the cinnamon we put in it, The pancake itself was fluffy with bits of apple in it. Because it is fall, I would recommend doing it sometime soon because it is very simple and tasty.
