Apple Pancakes

To start off with this recipe, first my partner and I washed our hands.

To make apple pancakes there are a few steps. First you have to start off with grating the apples so they are shredded. To do this we used the Kitchenaid attachment. To get the apples grated we had to chop them up into smaller pieces so they could fit in the compartment that had handles on it to press down. The next thing we did was get out all the ingredients. We needed; butter, an egg, milk, shredded apples, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and sugar.

Next in a large bowl we had to combine an egg, butter, milk, and the shredded apples. In a different bowl we then had to combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and sugar. We had to sift together the ingredients, After both mixtures were mixed together we then had to mix the flour mixture into the apple mixture. We only mixed until it was just combined.

Now that the mixtures are together we used a 1/4 cup measuring cup to scoop the mixture into the skillet. We flipped the pancakes as each side turned a golden brown.

Once all the pancakes were done, it was time to test them. The pancakes were nice and fluffy. The appearance was amazing and made your mouth water. They tasted great and the shredded apples made the pancakes taste a lot better and maybe healthier.

Once we were done, we wrapped the pancakes up with saran wrap. We then washed and dried the dishes and put them back into their correct spots.
