Chicken Noodle Soup

For this recipe, I used the back of the chicken that I used for my Country Fried recipe and the broth. My partner and I began by taking the chicken off the backbone and put in a bowl.

We then had to start making the dough for the noodles. I sprinkled flour over the counters and rolled the dough out and make it really thin. After that, we rolled up the dough and cut them about an eighth of an inch so the noodles were the size that I like. We then unraveled the noodles and laid them on a cloth to dry overnight.

The next day, we cooked the noodles and chicken in a saucepan. We waited till the chicken and broth were boiled and then added the noodles. We then added a garlic spice to our broth to give it a different flavor. Once the noodles were soft we put the pan aside from the heat and let it cool a little.

The chicken to me was just fine. I really enjoyed the noodles that I made. We had a lot of broth with ours which was alright. I loved the garlic flavor that was added to the broth. I just might have to start add and mixing different spices at home to try different tastes!
