Fruit Pizza

For my first project I made a Fruit pizza, It is a sugar cookie with cream cheese frosting and fruit on top.

The first step I had to do was preheat my oven to 350 degrees, then I had to make the cookie. I made the sugar cookie crust out of flour, sugar, butter, egg, brown sugar, salt, baking powder and vanilla. I creamed the butter and sugar's together and then I combined everything else besides the flour, to a fluffy look. Then I slowly added my flour into the mixture until it was a thicker, sticky dough. The next step was to lightly greased my cooking sheet and press the dough into the pan, until it was a half inch thick. Then I placed in the oven for about 13 minutes. Then I pulled it out and let it cool for ten minutes.

As the cookie was cooling I started the third step I made the frosting. I used  cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla. I first started by beating the cream cheese until it looked creamy. I then added the sugar and vanilla and beat until it was creamy. After that I spread it on my cookie. I then wrapped it and placed it in the fridge.

The final step was to cut all the fruit to place on top. I used two oranges, two kiwis, one pineapple, and one apple. I first cut all the skins off my kiwis and then cut them into little pieces. I then cut up my pineapple, I first cut all the skin off then cut in to smaller bite sizes. I had a lot of left over pineapple so I saved them for a snack. I did the same process with the oranges. Then I cut the apple up because I didn't want it to brown.

After all the fruit was cut I got my crust and frosting out of the fridge and put all of the fruit on top. And arranged it nicely. I like the look and taste of my Fruit pizza but I'm not a fan of kiwis so I wont make this same recipe again.
