Making the quiche was very similar to making a pie. I did mess up on the crust making it as it kept tearing on me as i was trying to smooth it out. The contents for making the quiche were relatively easy and didn't really cause any problems with me. I didn't have enough time during class the first day to put my ingredients in the crust and actually cook it so I had to come back the next day to put it all in and frankly it didn't look very nice after they had all be setting together in the same bowl. After I actually put everything in the crust and baking it I was very surprised at how nice it looked.
When I was finally able to eat my quiche I was very impressed. It was very flavorful and quite delicious. I didn't care for the texture that the crust added, and I wish that I had put more cheese in it, but it was still very good. When I took it home my family wanted to have some so I gave them some before I went to work. When I got home it was all gone! so I'd say they really liked it too, or they threw it out. I'd prefer the first idea.
All in all I thought the quiche was pretty easy yet worked on a few skills that i needed to work on. It also was able to show me that, sometime, even if it looks like you are putting a lot in, put in more. But that mostly depends on what your putting in and how flavorful you want it.
