For Riley and I's first lab together we decided to make our quesadillas for our cooked veggie recipe. Making this was a little difficult for me since I never thought the onions were "soft" until the started looking cooked. Draining the corn and beans were easy enough along with mixing everything together to cook them. The hardest part was trying to flip the quesadilla so you could cook the other side.
For the first quesadilla that I made I didn't put enough cheese on it so it didn't hold together that well, and I thought it would take a while longer then it actually does so i burnt the one side pretty badly. The second quesadilla that i made turned out a lot better, but I still burnt it a little because I took to long to put everything on it.
When I ate part of my quesadilla I was surprised at how much I actually liked it. I would have loved to have put some chicken in it as well just to add to everything. When I walked out to wait for my sister my friends came and decided to "try" my quesadilla. When I went to leave I soon realized that I no longer had a snack before work because my friends devoured both of my quesadillas. They said they were really good and agreed with me on the looks of my first quesadilla.
