Loaded Baked Potato Soup

The loaded potato soup was very fun and interesting for me. I've always loved eating it at restaurants and was curious to see how mine would taste. When I was cooking the bacon I was trying not to burn it, or myself as i was tearing it apart for my soup. As I was tearing apart the last of the bacon I started to smell something burning. Then someone told me that I hadn't taken the bacon grease off of the stove so that was burning.

That was the only mishap that we had and the rest of it went really smoothly. I was surprised, however, that milk was basically the only part of our broth and that the potatoes were cooked and everything beforehand. It didn't take away from any part of the soup. It was a little thicker then I would have liked and I would have loved to have more of the broth/milk in the soup. Other than those small things I was very impressed with how our soup turned out and it is probably something that I will make again.
